TECHNOH LAB.
An experimental collaboration of Noh × Techno × Visual Art.
Featuring Hosho School Noh master Manjiro Tatsumi and internationally acclaimed techno DJ Ken Ishii, this program explores Jo-Ha-Kyu — the traditional Noh concept of progression, acceleration, and climax — through a fusion of classical performing arts and cutting-edge techno music.
The old pine backdrop of the Noh stage, projection mapping, and techno sound come together to reimagine traditional Japanese performing arts as a contemporary art experience.
能 × テクノ × 映像による、実験的コラボレーション。 宝生流能楽師・辰巳満次郎と、世界で活躍するテクノDJのケンイシイが共演し、能の時間概念である「序破急」をテーマに、古典芸能と最先端のテクノミュージックを融合させるプログラムです。能舞台の老松、プロジェクションマッピング、テクノサウンドが一体となり、伝統芸能を現代のアート体験として再構築します。

女性アーティストによる、テクノと日本舞踊の現代的な芸術対話。
「TECHNO」と「NAGON／納言」を掛け合わせた企画で、かつて文化と美を担った“納言”的な感性を、現代の女性アーティストたちが呼び覚まします。日本舞踊の大曲「娘道成寺」をモチーフに、RISA TANIGUCHIのテクノサウンドと藤間京之助の舞が響き合い、さらにプロジェクションマッピングによる映像演出が、古典の情念と美しさをより鮮やかに浮かび上がらせます。
JAZZNOH LAB.
A live session where stillness and movement intersect through Noh × Jazz × Visual Art.Featuring Konparu School Noh master Tsunao Yamai, female Noh performer Kiyomi Muraoka, and jazz band BLU-SWING, this experimental stage connects the ma — the silence and space of Noh — with the groove of jazz.The program begins with Noh dance, then gradually layers chanting, vocals, dance, and live band performance, eventually unfolding into a full BLU-SWING live session. It is a special SUIGIAN experience where the quiet depth of Noh resonates with the dynamic energy of jazz.
能 × ジャズ × 映像による、静と躍動が交差するライブセッション。 金春流能楽師・山井綱雄、女性能楽師・村岡聖美、ジャズバンドBLU-SWINGが参加し、能の「間」とジャズのグルーヴをつなぐ実験的な舞台です。能舞から始まり、謡とボーカル、舞とバンド演奏が重なり、やがてBLU-SWINGのライブへと展開していく構成。能の静けさとジャズの躍動が響き合う、水戯庵ならではの特別なセッションです。
MIKO HOUSE
A mystical night culture program where Miko Dance × House Music × Gagaku × Visual Art come together.
With DJ sounds by Soichi Terada, layered with miko dance, gagaku, and projection mapping, this program transforms the Noh stage of SUIGIAN into a sacred yet contemporary space where prayer and music dissolve into one another.
巫女舞 × ハウスミュージック × 雅楽 × 映像による、神事と現代音楽が交差するプログラム。
寺田創一のDJサウンドに、巫女舞、雅楽、プロジェクションマッピングが重なり、水戯庵の能舞台に、祈りと音が溶け合う神秘的なナイトカルチャーの空間を立ち上げます。
KRUSH NAGON
A one-of-a-kind program featuring the music of internationally acclaimed DJ and producer DJ KRUSH, in collaboration with Momokawa Geinagon, the female artist collective that supports the stage of SUIGIAN.
The fleeting beauty and delicate impermanence of classical Japanese performing arts — including Nihon Buyo, nagauta, hayashi, and shamisen — merge with DJ KRUSH’s deep, meditative beats, creating a singular art world that can only be experienced at SUIGIAN.
世界的に評価されるDJ／音楽プロデューサー・DJ KRUSHの音楽と、水戯庵の舞台を支える女流芸術家集団「百川芸納言」が共演するプログラムです。日本舞踊、長唄、囃子、三味線などの古典芸能が持つ儚さや刹那性に、DJ KRUSHの深く静謐なビートが重なる唯一無二のアート世界が広がります。

Suigian stands on the historic site of the legendary Momokawaroh in Nihonbashi Muromachi. Once, it was a place where people gathered, arts blossomed, and the spirit of the night came alive. Today, that legacy returns every Friday through MOMOKAWAROH—a new cultural gathering where Japanese traditional performing arts meet cutting-edge music and visual expression.
百川楼のスピリット、再び。
水戯庵は、日本橋室町にかつてあった伝説の百川楼の跡地にあります。人が集い、芸が花開き、夜が息づいていたその場所。その記憶は今、毎週金曜の「MOMOKAWAROH」としてよみがえります。日本の伝統芸能と、最先端の音楽・映像が交わる、新しい文化の場です。

MOMOKAWAROHならではの、伝統の空気と現代性が響き合うナイトプログラム。TECHNOH LAB.、TECHNAGON、MIKO HOUSEといった特別企画では、テクノ、ハウス、身体表現、パフォーマンスを横断しながら、ライブ表現の新しいかたちを探っていきます。通常の金曜夜は、グルーヴ、エネルギー、そして夜の空気に導かれながら、ジャンルを越えて流動的にラインナップが展開していきます。
THE PEOPLE OF MOMOKAWAROH
Hidetomo Kimura
Proprietor of Suigian / General Producer of MOMOKAWAROH
Hidetomo Kimura is an internationally active artist and the owner of Suigian. He oversees every aspect of the venue, from food, tea, sake, and service to spatial direction and live performance programming. In 2018, he founded Suigian as a cultural salon where guests could experience authentic Japanese traditional performing arts in an intimate setting.
MOMOKAWA GEINAGON
Produced by Hidetomo Kimura, MOMOKAWA GEINAGON is a distinguished collective of female artists exploring new expressions rooted in Japanese traditional performing arts.
Through Japanese dance, traditional music, voice, movement, and spoken expression, the ensemble brings the grace, discipline, and poetic sensibility of classical forms into dialogue with contemporary sound and performance.
Rather than reproducing the past, MOMOKAWA GEINAGON carries tradition forward as a living artistic presence for the present age.
FUTATSUDOMOE
FUTATSUDOMOE is a creative label by Kouki Ikuta and Kyoko Kakehashi.
Blending Japanese aesthetics with contemporary expression, it creates new cultural experiences through film, music, spatial direction, and branding.
Rooted in the philosophy of dual forces in balance and motion, FUTATSUDOMOE connects culture, art, locality, and technology to shape memorable experiences for the present and the future.
